We will be closed between February and May 2021 while we move to new premises, orders already received will be processed, any orders received after 23rd January 2021 will be processed when we are set up at our new premises, thank you for your patience.
Alba Railway Models is a small family-run company that produces a range of 7mm fine scale model locomotive, coach and wagon kits. These are predominantly based on prototypes of the Caledonian Railway (Caley) and subsequent designs based on Caley originals. We also have a small selection of Drummond designs for the North British Railway.
Many of the locomotives, coaches and non coaching stock vehicles of the Caledonian Railway could be found in regular use during the LMS and BR periods. Many of the company's vehicles could still be seen in regular use in the early 1960's, not only in Scotland but also other parts of the UK.
Our 7mm scale coach and wagon kits are supplied as complete kits with the exception of paint and transfers, Loco kits can be supplied with wheels as an option – see the details of each kit for the type to order.
Our 4mm scale kits for locos, coaches and wagons are available either as a kit or as an etch and castings separately, both are supplied as a flat pack kit, the choice of wheels, bearings, motor and gear box are left to the builder.
We are also happy to supply component parts from any of the kits separately.

CR/LMS/BR 72/113 Class 4-4-0 is temporarily unavailable while we have the etch updated.
